Conflict & Life Coaching

You do not need someone to tell you what to do. Sometimes you need a place to figure out what you want to do.

A three-part image showing a woman through layered reflections, overlapping translucent forms, and a hand selecting a blue-green disc from several colorful pieces.

One-to-one coaching offers a confidential space to think aloud, make sense of difficult dynamics, explore options, prepare for conversations, navigate change, and decide what comes next.

Whether you are dealing with conflict at work or at home, a difficult relationship, a major transition, a decision you keep circling, or simply a situation that feels harder to untangle alone, the goal is not to hand you an answer. It is to help you see the situation more clearly, expand the possibilities you can see, and make choices that are genuinely yours.

A thought partner, not an advice column.

Good coaching does not require someone else to know your life better than you do.

Birthe brings deep experience in conflict engagement, coaching, communication, organizational dynamics, and helping people think through situations where there is no obvious right answer.

She will ask questions, notice patterns, challenge assumptions when useful, help you consider perspectives and possibilities you may not have seen, and help you prepare for what comes next.

You remain the decision-maker.

What might we work through?

These are examples rather than a list of services. If what you are carrying is not here, it still belongs in a conversation.

  • A conflict or relationship that has become difficult to navigate
  • A conversation you need to have and do not know how to approach
  • Workplace dynamics, boundaries, or interpersonal challenges
  • A decision with competing priorities and no obvious answer
  • Career change, professional transition, or questions about what comes next
  • Patterns you keep encountering and want to understand differently
  • A change in your life that has left you recalibrating
  • Something complicated that does not fit neatly into a category

Come with one question or stay for a while.

Some situations benefit from a single focused conversation. Others unfold over time. Coaching is available as individual sessions or ongoing support, depending on what is useful to you. There is no required package or long-term commitment.

If we have worked together before

If you previously worked with Birthe in her role as an Organizational Ombuds, that professional relationship ended when she left that role. Through Amity Conflict Specialists, you may now choose to establish a new and separate relationship with her as a private coaching client.

Coaching is separate from Organizational Ombuds practice and does not carry the same role or institutional relationship. Information shared during a previous Ombuds relationship remains protected and separate from the coaching relationship.

What coaching can offer is something that may feel familiar: a confidential space to think aloud, sort through complexity, consider options, and determine what makes sense for you.

What coaching is and is not

Conflict & Life Coaching is a private coaching service. It is separate from Organizational Ombuds practice and is not therapy, legal advice, or representation.

Coaching provides a space for reflection, exploration, skill-building, preparation, and decision-making. You remain responsible for the choices you make and the actions you take.

You do not have to know exactly what you need.

You can start with what is happening.
